Scientific and Technological Achievements
Sinosteel Luonai Materials Technology Corporation has undertaken a number of national, provincial and municipal scientific research projects, and has undertaken a total of 123 national, provincial and municipal scientific research projects since 2000, including 55 national-level projects and 45 provincial-level projects. It has 15 core technologies, involving steel, petrochemical, non-ferrous, building materials, military industry and other fields. 149 patents have been obtained for core technologies, including 93 invention patents and 1 foreign patent. 62 scientific and technological achievement appraisals were obtained, of which 14 achievement technologies reached the international leading level and 33 achievement technologies reached the international advanced level. A total of 305 awards at provincial or ministerial level or above have been awarded, including 33 national awards, “Development of Silicon Nitride Bonded Silicon Carbide Products for Aluminum Electrolytic Cells” and “Longevity and Efficient Technology of Furnace Lining Materials for Iron and Steel Metallurgical Storage and Refining Equipment” have won the second prize of National Scientific and Technological Progress Award in 2004 and 2008, and “Synergistic Improvement Technology of Key Service Performance of Metallurgical Functional Refractory Materials and Its Application in Refining Continuous Casting” have won the second prize of National Invention Award in 2016. The Corporation presided over or participated in the development of 113 standards (presided over the development of 54 national standards and participated in 20 standards; presided over the development of 32 industrial standards and participated in 4 standards); and presided over the development of 3 international standards.
