On the afternoon of January 3, Sinosteel Luonai IPO project kick-off meeting was held in Sinosteel Luonai Company. Wang Wenjun first introduced the background of Sinosteel Luonai's IPO project. On October 10, 2019, Hao Peng, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, when inspecting and guiding the work of Sinosteel Refractories, proposed that Sinosteel Refractories should be built into a world-class refractory company and a leader in this professional field. . In accordance with the spirit of Secretary Hao Peng's instructions, the group party committee researched and determined the "three-step" plan. The first step is to integrate internal resources. Sinosteel Refractory and Sinosteel Luonai Institute were reorganized and established Sinosteel Luonai New Material Technology Co., Ltd. The second step is to introduce strategic investors, realize employee stock ownership, carry out shareholding reforms, and enter the capital market. The third step is to continuously strengthen the company's strength through technological innovation and capital operation, and implement international mergers and acquisitions. It will take about five years to reach the goal of the first square in the international refractory industry. Wang Wenjun made arrangements for the next step, clarifying responsibilities and specific division of labor.
The four intermediary agencies introduced the content, timing and tasks of the important matters in the IPO project.
Wang Yunqi explained the relevant requirements of intermediary agencies, and proposed to grasp the core issue of mixed reform and listing in the "three-step" plan, establish institutions and mechanisms corresponding to the group, and strengthen implementation.
Wang Shouye pointed out that the IPO project is a major event this year. Time is tight and the workload is large. It is necessary to follow the list of issues, race against time, go hand in hand, and comprehensively promote related work.
Li Guofu, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Sinosteel Luonai Company, asked Sinosteel Luonai Company to actively prepare materials in accordance with the schedule, plan ahead, and closely cooperate with the work of all parties to actively promote the IPO project.
Participants from Sinosteel Luonai Company, Sinosteel Refractory Branch and Sinosteel Luonai Institute communicated with intermediary agencies on the problems encountered in the preliminary preparations for the IPO project, and the two sides also conducted in-depth discussions on some specific issues.
The convening of this meeting marked the first step in the implementation of Sinosteel Luonai's IPO project and laid a solid foundation for the realization of Sinosteel Luonai's strategic goal of building a world-class refractory company.
