On May 14, Sinosteel Luonai successfully passed the assessment and certification conducted by EcoVadis, an international evaluation agency, covering the company’s operational sites in terms of environment, labor and human rights, business ethics, and sustainable procurement. It was awarded the "Commitment Medal", demonstrating the achievements of Sinosteel Luonai in corporate social responsibility (CSR).

  Founded in Paris, France in 2007, EcoVadis is currently the world’s largest, most recognized and most authoritative corporate social responsibility rating agency. Its rating services cover over 1,000 financial and commercial value chains worldwide, spanning more than 200 industry categories and 175 countries and regions, delivering professional analysis of environmental, social and ethical risks with precision. Centered on the three core pillars of governance—policy, action and outcome—the agency develops a customized assessment framework based on industry characteristics, enterprise scale and business location. With stringent audit standards and high certification value, it represents an internationally recognized social responsibility evaluation system.

  EcoVadis certification serves as a key criterion for European and American clients to assess supplier qualifications, as well as a critical entry threshold for enterprises to expand into European and American markets. Failure to obtain this certification may lead to restricted international cooperation, damage to brand reputation and heightened supply chain risks. The certification process follows four standard procedures: registration, questionnaire submission, expert analysis and result evaluation. During this certification, the Corporate Culture Department of the company responded to the work requirements of the International Business Office of the Marketing Center, coordinated closely with all departments of the company for efficient collaboration. In strict compliance with certification standards, the team conducted item-by-item sorting and gap-filling, submitting 169 data documents in three rounds, completing all application and audit work with high quality and ensuring the smooth completion of the certification.
