On September 6th, the Party Committee Central Group of Sinosteel Luonai Materials Technology Corporation held the Fourth Seminar Meeting on Collective Learning of 2020, with the theme of earnestly studying the spirit of the important speech of General Secretary XI Jinping on “High-quality Development”, deepening supply-side structural reform, planning the strategic positioning and main responsibility development direction of the Corporation, and promoting the high-quality development of Sinosteel Luonai. Members of the leading group of Sinosteel Luonai Corporation attended the seminar, which was chaired by LI Guofu, Party Secretary and Chairman of Sinosteel Luonai Corporation, and a keynote speech was made by BO Jun, Deputy Party Secretary, Director and General Manager of the Party Committee of Sinosteel Luonai Corporation.
Before the meeting, the participating leaders carefully studied the Special Topic IX of XI Jinping’s Talking about Governing the Country (Volume III) by themselves as required, and collectively studied the important speech of General Secretary XI on the analysis of economic situation, adhering to the new development concept and promoting the high-quality development of the economy in the near future.
At the meeting, firstly, the two speeches made by General Secretary XI at the Central Economic Work Conference on December 18th, 2017 compiled in Special Topic IX were reviewed in full reading.
Keynote speeches were made by BO Jun. He exchanged his experience in learning the VI, VIII, IX Topics from six aspects: “Practice is the only standard for testing truth”, “Insisting on problem-oriented deployment of work”, “Insisting on bottom line thinking”, “Opportunities exist in the crisis, only innovators win”, “Opportunity”, and “Responsibility and accountability”. Afterwards, he discussed the understanding on Sinosteel Luonai’s realization of planning of building a world-class refractory enterprise.
On the basis of reviewing the practice of reform of Sinosteel Luonai since December 2019, they discussed the learning experience and work suggestions. It is agreed that: to strengthen and become superior and large state-owned enterprises, it is necessary to adhere to high-quality development; to construct the world-class refractory materials enterprise, it is necessary to adhere to high-quality development. The development scale and development quality should be the same, and scientific and technological innovation is an important support for high-quality development. We should not only be based on the present, but also focus on the long run; we should not only do a good job in the current production, operation and listing, but also concretize each phased goal and measure of the Corporation’s development plan and solidly take each step of high-quality development.
The meeting requires adhering to the theoretical study and special discussion system, further recognizing the situation, preventing risks, and sorting out the development ideas. At the same time, the specific arrangements have been made for formulating the Corporation’s “Fourteenth Five-Year Development Plan”, special research and scientific research work, and doing a good job in the feasibility study and analysis of fundraising projects.
