Sinosteel Luonai Materials Technology Corporation (short for "Sinosteel Luonai") is one of the 156 key projects during the "First Five-Year Plan" period of the People's Republic of China. It is a leading R&D, manufacturing, engineering design and technical integration service provider of medium- and high-end refractory materials in China. Sinosteel Luonai has national-level R&D and service platforms including the State Key Laboratory of Advanced Refractories, the National Engineering Research Center for Refractories, and National Quality Inspection and Testing Center for Refractories. It is also a patriotic education base for central enterprises and one of the first batch of scientist spirit education bases. On June 6, 2022, Sinosteel Luonai was listed on the Science and Technology Innovation Board of the Shanghai Stock Exchange (stock code: 688119).

It is a Chinese provider of research and development, manufacturing, engineering design, and technology integration services for mid to high end refractory materials. Sinosteel Luonai main products include 8 series of refractory products, including silicon series products, magnesium series products, high aluminum series products, composite series products, high-purity oxide products, functional material products, and amorphous and prefabricated products. These products are exported to more than 40 countries and regions on five continents and are widely used in high-temperature fields such as steel, non-ferrous metals, petroleum and coal chemical industry, building materials, power, energy conservation and environmental protection, and national defense and military industry.
Sinosteel Luonai has a strong team of professional and technical personnel. It has R&D platforms such as the State Key Laboratory of Advanced Refractory Materials, the Refractory Joint Construction Laboratory, the Refractory National Engineering Research Center and the National Refractory Quality Supervision and Inspection Center. It has undertaken many national science and technology research projects such as the "Sixth Five Year Plan", "Seventh Five Year Plan", "Eighth Five Year Plan", "Ninth Five Year Plan", "863", "973", and science and technology support plan, and has obtained many scientific research achievements.
