In order to thoroughly study and implement Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, strengthen the leading role of Party - building, and promote the in - depth integration of Party - building and business, recently, the Party Committee of Sinosteel Luoyang Institute of Refractories and the Party Committee of the Materials School of Wuhan University of Science and Technology jointly carried out the theme Party - day activity of "Red - chain Connecting Industry, University and Research, Empowering the Tackling of Key Refractories Localization".

Before the event, Shi Lihuan, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission of China Steel Luonai, held talks with Liu Xiaoyun, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Materials Science Department of Wuhan University of Science and Technology, and his delegation. Shi Lihuan reviewed the cooperation process that both parties have gone through together, emphasizing that the achievements and deep friendship of past cooperation are the solid foundation for both parties to move towards the future together. He hopes to take this event as an opportunity, guided by party building, to deepen resource integration and complementary advantages, expand new space for cooperation, enhance new heights of cooperation, and achieve mutual benefit and coordinated development. Both sides exchanged views on strengthening collaboration in multiple fields and promoting the integration of party building and business.

More than 50 party and government officials, leaders of the National Key Laboratory of Advanced Refractory Materials, and representatives of party members from both sides of China Steel Luoyang Institute participated in the event.

At the beginning of the Party Day activities, all Party members reviewed their oath of joining the Party.   Representatives attending the meeting shared their experiences and insights based on practical work. In the scientific research cooperation docking and exchange session, the research backbones of both sides conducted in-depth discussions on cutting-edge technologies and cooperation directions in the field of refractory materials. In response to the needs of scientific research cooperation, the development of key projects in advanced refractory materials national key laboratories, and talent cultivation, in-depth exchanges were carried out to continue deepening cooperation.

During the event, both sides also held the unveiling ceremony of the Party building joint construction base and the college student social practice base. Subsequently, the participants visited the exhibition "Never Forget the Original Aspiration and Eternal Belief - Luonai Employees Remembering Comrade Xi Zhongxun" and conducted on-site visits to the production line, listening to distinctive workshop party lectures.

This party building and co construction themed party day activity not only enhances the cohesion and combat effectiveness of grassroots party organizations on both sides, but also injects strong momentum into the high-quality development of the refractory material industry with the power of the "red engine". Party members and comrades who participated in the activity expressed that they will take this joint construction as an important opportunity to effectively transform the results of cooperation into hard core measures to fulfill their duties and responsibilities.
