Recently, the 10th Editorial Committee of "Refractory Materials", the 7th Editorial Committee of "China's Refractories", and the 2nd Youth Editorial Committee of the two journals were successfully established and held at Xi'an University of Architecture and Technology. Experts, scholars, and industry elites from 37 units in the domestic refractory material industry chain gathered here to provide suggestions and recommendations for the development of the two journals, opening a new chapter of academic exchange and progress in the industry.

The meeting was chaired by Wang Zhanmin, the Chairman of the 10th Editorial Board of "Refractory Materials" and Vice Chairman of the 7th Editorial Board of "China's Refractories", as well as the Deputy General Manager of Zhonggang Lonai. The meeting also carefully listened to the suggestions of the editorial board on the development of the magazine, and the editorial board had a lively discussion on the future development of the two journals. In terms of improving academic quality, it is recommended to strengthen the invitation for submissions of cutting-edge research results and encourage the publication of interdisciplinary research papers; In terms of expanding international influence, it is proposed to actively cooperate with internationally renowned academic platforms, increase the participation of international editorial board members, and promote the international dissemination of journal content.
