Recently, the review meetings for two black metallurgy industry standards, "Burnt Aluminum Silicon Carbide Bricks" and "Hot Repair Materials for Blast Furnace Ironways", organized by the National Refractory Standardization Technical Committee affiliated with China Steel Luoyang Institute, were held in Xi'an. More than 40 expert representatives from the National Standards Committee, universities, inspection agencies, production and application enterprises attended the meeting. Yuan Lin, Vice Chairman of the National Standards Committee and Chairman of the Refractory Branch of the China Ceramics Society, Wang Wenwu, Vice Chairman of the Product Branch of the National Standards Committee and Deputy General Manager of China Steel Luoyang, Gan Feifang, Vice Chairman of the Product Branch of the National Standards Committee, and others attended the meeting, which was chaired by Peng Xigao, Secretary General of the National Standards Committee.

The standard for "Burnt Aluminum Silicon Carbide Bricks" was revised with the participation of Wuhan University of Science and Technology, Henan Yifeng High Temperature Materials Co., Ltd., Gongyi Xinxin Refractory Materials Co., Ltd., and China Steel Group Luoyang Refractory Research Institute Co., Ltd. It is under the jurisdiction of the National Refractory Standardization Technical Committee. The standard for hot repair materials for blast furnace tapping holes is developed by Beijing Union Rongda Engineering Materials Co., Ltd., MCC Wuhan Metallurgical Construction Research Institute Co., Ltd., and is under the jurisdiction of the National Refractory Standardization Technical Committee.

According to the standard review procedure, representatives of the standard drafting unit reported on the source of the topic, a brief overview of the process of developing the standard, and the summary and processing of opinions on the standard solicitation draft. The attending review experts conducted a rigorous and responsible review of the format, experimental methods, and technical indicators of the standard preparation instructions and the submission for review, word for word. Based on consensus, they formed revision suggestions for the standard. The reviewing experts unanimously agree that the revised standard review can be submitted to the standardization authority.
