Sinosteel Luonailuo New Base: Strengthening the Foundation of Integrity and Consolidating the Foundation of Development

General Secretary Xi Jinping emphasized that "without trust, people do not know what they can do; without trust, enterprises find it difficult to develop; without trust, society is in danger; without trust, the government lacks authority. In order to deeply practice the values of "integrity, innovation, green, and collaboration" of China Baowu and the cultural genes of "integrity, collaboration, and execution" of China Steel Group, the construction of integrity culture in Luoxin Base was officially launched on March 28th. Under the unified deployment of the Party Committee of China Steel Luonai, the base responded to orders and established a work group to promote integrity culture construction. With the work requirements of "four combinations" and the work pattern of "horizontal expansion, vertical deepening, key emphasis, and progressive progress", following the work idea of "discovering problems, analyzing problems, and solving problems", the whole year is divided into three stages: learning and education, research and discussion, and improvement and implementation. From deeply understanding the significance, accurately grasping the work requirements, highlighting key work tasks, and focusing on multidimensional collaborative efforts, etc. Specific requirements have been put forward, and careful arrangements have been made for the construction of a culture of integrity, Infuse the culture of integrity into every aspect and position.

 

 

 

Dongfeng brings warmth, time waits for no one. The construction of "integrity culture" has caused resonance throughout the base. The leadership team of the base took the lead in setting an example and preaching, incorporating integrity culture into the theoretical learning agenda of the Party Committee Central Group. On March 31st, the Party Committee Theoretical Learning Center Group held a study to convey and learn General Secretary Xi Jinping's important discourse on integrity construction, as well as the signed article "Strengthening Integrity Culture Construction and Building a Foundation for High quality Development" by Hu Wangming, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Baowu. Attendees had in-depth exchanges and discussions on the theme of "Deepening the Construction of Integrity Culture".

The meeting emphasized that all departments should work hard for a long time, combining the construction of a culture of integrity with the continuous promotion of the rectification of formalism to reduce the burden on grassroots work, with the construction of party conduct and clean governance and the fight against corruption, and with the operation in accordance with the law and regulations. Through multidimensional efforts and multiple measures, the construction of a culture of integrity should be deeply rooted in the minds of the Luoxin base. Each department fully mobilizes and progresses step by step, using the "online+offline" approach, from the "three meetings and one lesson" of the party branch, themed party day activities to "pre shift and post shift meetings", a series of animated scrolls of integrity culture construction are gradually extended and unfolded in grassroots units such as party branches, work areas, teams, and positions. At present, the first stage of "learning and education" has been successfully concluded, and various departments have submitted their answers on the basis of theoretical strength. The vast number of cadres and employees have reached a consensus that "integrity", as the first word of China Baowu's values, is a value principle that Baowu has always adhered to in its development process, a code of conduct that Baowu people jointly follow, and a cornerstone for promoting the stable and prosperous development of the enterprise.

The spring breeze turns into rain, moistening things silently. Since April, in the process of vertical and horizontal integration and linkage at all levels, the construction of integrity culture has been transformed from strengthening theoretical armament and consolidating ideological consensus to taking on practical responsibilities. The vast number of cadres and the masses uphold the spirit of turning the blade inward and self revolution, focusing on key areas around the key tasks of business management, adopting on-site research, special discussions, symposiums and exchanges, widely investigating the problems of integrity deficiency, analyzing the root causes, and promoting integrity to truly become the value standard and action consciousness of every employee in the base.

In the next stage, the Luoxin Base will continue to deepen the construction of integrity culture, carefully investigate and analyze the existing dishonest phenomena and cases, and based on the key dishonest phenomena and prominent problems, with the goal of breaking through the "bottlenecks" of integrity, optimizing functional management, and strengthening risk prevention and control, formulate effective rectification measures, promote the systematization, institutionalization, and standardization of integrity construction, and make "seeking truth from facts, honesty and trustworthiness, and abiding by discipline and rules" a prevailing trend in the Luoxin Base.
