The first academic committee and advisory committee meeting of the National Key Laboratory of Advanced Refractory Materials was successfully held

On March 25th, full of spring and vitality, the first academic committee and advisory committee meeting of the National Key Laboratory of Advanced Refractory Materials was held in Luoyang. Academician Cao Xianghong, Academician Sun Jinliang and Academician Fu Zhengyi of the Chinese Academy of Engineering attended the meeting on the spot. Ten academicians, including Academician Jiang Dongliang and Academician Wang Yide of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, attended the meeting online. Gao Jianbing, member of the Standing Committee of the Baowu Party Committee and deputy general manager of China, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Experts and scholars from scientific research institutes and universities, such as Shandong University, Chinese Academy of Sciences Shanghai Institute of Advanced Research, AVIC Beijing Institute of Aeronautical Materials, Beijing University of Science and Technology, and China Refractory Industry Association, attended the meeting.

 

 

 

Leaders such as Pan Gang, Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Henan Province, and Ren Lijun, Deputy Mayor of Luoyang Municipal People's Government; Liu Guowang, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of China Steel Group, Gou Yannan, Standing Committee Member of the Party Committee and Chief Accountant of Shanghai University, Ni Hongwei, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of Wuhan University of Science and Technology, and other representatives of the laboratory co construction units attended the meeting.

高建兵在发言中感谢各位院士、专家对实验室建设提出的宝贵意见和建议,表示中国宝武将在人力、财力、政策等方面强化对实验室建设的保障,以支撑其早日建设成为一流实验室。同时也希望实验室高度重视院士、专家提出的宝贵建议,并将其转化为实验室建设的目标任务,推动落实,共建单位要协同落实建设目标,共同推进实验室短期、中期和长期任务的完成。

Li Hongxia, Director of the National Key Laboratory of Advanced Refractory Materials, Chief Scientist of China Baowu, and Chief Scientist of Sinosteel Luonai, reported in detail on the laboratory construction plan, including the strategic significance and positioning of the laboratory, research direction and target tasks, main work of the previous year, and future research focus. The members fully affirmed the construction plan and unanimously agreed that the laboratory has a good foundation for construction. After the restructuring, the laboratory has gathered the research advantages of China Steel Group Luoyang Refractory Materials Research Institute, Shanghai University, and Wuhan University of Science and Technology, and has the conditions to meet the major strategic needs of the country and build a distinctive international first-class advanced refractory materials laboratory; And put forward positive suggestions for the construction of the laboratory:One is to further focus on national strategies, condense key research and development directions, and strengthen the construction of scientific and technological innovation platforms;The second is to innovate the system and mechanism, fully leverage the scientific research advantages of the three units, focus on the overall goal, take scientific research projects as the starting point, and do a good job in collaborative innovation;Thirdly, taking laboratory construction as an opportunity, we will strengthen the efforts to attract and cultivate high-end talents;Fourthly, benchmarking international frontiers and industry demands, condensing scientific issues, and further strengthening basic research and applied basic research;Fifth, take industrial application as the starting point and strengthen the deep integration of industry, academia, research and application;Sixth, cultural construction should be emphasized in laboratory construction.

The National Key Laboratory of Advanced Refractory Materials is jointly established by China Steel Group Luoyang Refractory Research Institute Co., Ltd., Shanghai University, and Wuhan University of Science and Technology, marking a new stage in the research and development of high-temperature industrial materials in China. In the future, the laboratory will deeply implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee, adhere to the "four orientations", base itself on the education base of scientist spirit, inherit the red gene, build an important national strategic scientific and technological force, lead advanced refractory material technology innovation to reach the world's first-class level, and assist in building a strong materials country.
