Recently, Xiao Guodong, Assistant General Manager of China Baowu, and his delegation visited Sinosteel Luonai for research and guidance. The purpose of this survey is to understand the implementation of environmental protection work in the Yellow River Basin by Sinosteel Luonai, and to have discussions and exchanges on topics such as environmental protection planning and the protection of the Yellow River Basin. Members of the leadership team and relevant department heads of Sinosteel Luonai participated in the research symposium.

At the meeting, Xiong Jian, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Company, reported on the recent production and operation situation of the company, with a focus on energy and environmental protection, hazardous waste management, online monitoring of flue gas, and the progress, target decomposition, and tracking implementation of the Yellow River Basin environmental protection plan. The Baowu Environmental Protection Inspection Team has deployed work on implementing the requirements of the central environmental protection inspection, water intake and drainage management, and energy-saving review of construction projects.

Xiao Guodong affirmed the work carried out by Sinosteel Luonai in energy and environmental protection. He put forward two requirements: firstly, environmental protection related issues in production and operation should be communicated and clarified with government departments in a timely manner. Secondly, we should pay close attention to the issues raised by the central ecological environment protection inspection in Henan Province, conduct self-examination of the problems, and ensure a closed loop of rectification.

During the research period, Xiao Guodong and his team went deep into the production site, conducted on-site inspections of the operation of the production line and the construction of environmental protection facilities, and focused on key environmental protection areas such as hazardous waste temporary storage rooms. They gained a detailed understanding of the wastewater treatment, hazardous waste classification and storage, and standardized management processes of Sinosteel Luonai.

The Yellow River Basin is an important ecological barrier and economic belt in China, and a core area for national ecological security and economic development. Strengthening the ecological environment protection of the Yellow River Basin is of great significance for achieving high-quality regional economic development. Sinosteel Luonai will always adhere to green development, actively promote the implementation and implementation of environmental protection plans in the Yellow River Basin, and contribute Luonai's strength to the protection of the Yellow River.
