Recently, the 2024 Skill Talent Selection and the 8th Second Batch of Skill Talent Selection for Sinosteel Luonailuo Base have been successfully completed, with employees from 13 positions (types of work) including assembly molds, semi inspection, assembly, packaging, etc. participating in the selection. After three stages and nine stages of skill training, qualification review, performance evaluation, theoretical examination, and practical examination, a total of 88 skilled talents from the four tiers of "Loy Craftsman", "Chief Employee", "Job Leader", and "Production Backbone" were selected this time, accounting for 27.4% of the on-the-job employees in the selected positions (types of work).

The selection of skilled talents was officially launched in June 2024, and the Loy Base attaches great importance to it. From the overall arrangement of the selection work, the establishment of the evaluation team, to the selection of test questions and the setting of examination rooms, every link is strictly controlled. The theoretical examination involves multiple fields such as basic theoretical knowledge of refractory materials, process technology, and quality control, which are deeply in line with the business scope, quality control trends, and technological development directions of various job positions (types of work) in different work areas. The practical examination designs challenging competition projects based on the core skills of different positions (occupations). To ensure fairness and impartiality in this selection process, the evaluation team is composed of experienced and skilled technicians and skilled personnel from within the base, who participate in the entire process of selection training, question bank supplementation, theoretical exams, and practical exams. At the same time, the pre exam plan and post exam results are publicly announced.
