Recently, the "Application Promotion and Exchange Conference of Innovative Methods in the Refractory Industry" organized by the Refractory Industry Subcommittee of the C-TRIZ Innovation Knowledge and Capability International Accreditation Committee, which was established based on China Steel Luoyang Institute, was successfully held in Chengdu. The meeting was chaired by Wang Wenwu, Chairman of the Subcommittee and Deputy General Manager of China Steel Luonai.

Cao Xiying, Secretary General of the Subcommittee and Director of the Operations Management Office of China Steel Luonai Institute, gave a systematic introduction to the Subcommittee and TRIZ's innovative methods, reported on the various work carried out by the Subcommittee since its establishment, introduced the work plan for the next stage, and shared a report on "how to reduce costs" on the current cost reduction pressure faced by enterprises. The attendees had in-depth discussions and exchanges on the application and promotion of innovative methods in the refractory material industry.

Wang Wenwu pointed out that under the current economic situation, it is necessary to effectively implement the concept of "scientific and technological innovation methods first" proposed by the Ministry of Science and Technology of China, and increase the application and promotion of innovative methods in the refractory materials industry. On the basis of popularization and in-depth training, innovative promotion models should be developed to make innovative methods an important catalyst for the implementation of innovation strategies, promoting the efficient and innovative development of the refractory materials industry.

The Refractory Industry Sub Committee of the C-TRIZ Innovation Knowledge and Capability International Accreditation Committee was established with the support of China Steel Group Luoyang Refractory Research Institute Co., Ltd. Under the leadership of the C-TRIZ Innovation Knowledge and Capability International Accreditation Committee, since its establishment in May 2022, the sub committee has conducted two training sessions for innovative engineers in the industry, trained 60 C-TRIZ innovative engineers, and made positive contributions to the cultivation of innovative talents and the dissemination of innovative methods in the refractory industry, improving the overall innovation capability of the industry, and promoting high-quality development of the industry.
