Sinosteel Luonai organizes the 2024 "Entering Key Laboratories" science popularization activity
In order to strengthen the promotion of the theme of innovative culture, carry forward the spirit of scientists, give practical play to the effectiveness of the spiritual education base for scientists, popularize innovative knowledge, sow innovative kindling, create innovative brands, enrich the summer life of employees' children, and enhance the sense of belonging, happiness, and pride of employees and their children, on August 31, on the eve of the opening of primary and secondary schools, Sinosteel Luonai Trade Union, the Ministry of Science and Technology Innovation, and the State Key Laboratory of Advanced Refractory Materials jointly carried out the science popularization activity of "Entering the State Key Laboratory", and taught a new "first lesson of school opening" to nearly 30 in-service employees' children.

This event includes themed practical activities such as visiting and learning, science popularization lectures, and experiencing scientific experiments.

In the science experiment section, students are divided into groups to conduct experiments on thermodynamics, mechanics, and microstructure. At the thermal experiment site, students personally touched and felt the thermal insulation properties of different materials such as glass, wood, and iron sheets, giving scientific energy to the objects and scenes that can be seen everywhere in life. In the mechanics experiment, students manually folded and cut A4 paper to create pressure bearing structural component models, and the staff used weights to test different structural components. Wow! In the microstructure experiment, through the electron microscope lens, the students were led into a magical microscopic world.
