Recently, five industry standard review meetings and one national standard discussion meeting for refractory products, chaired by the National Refractory Standardization Technical Committee (referred to as the "National Refractory Standardization Committee"), were held in Taizhou, Jiangsu. Peng Xigao, Secretary General of the National Standards Committee and Senior Engineer of China Steel Luoyang Refractory Research Institute Co., Ltd. (referred to as "China Steel Luoyang Institute"), presided over the meeting. More than 50 representatives from the National Standards Committee, production enterprises, design units, universities, inspection agencies and other units attended the meeting.

Peng Xigao presided over the review of five industry standards for products. Gan Feifang, Chief Researcher of Baosteel Group, and Lei Zhongxing, Chief Engineer of Wuhan Refractory of China Steel Luonai, have respectively served as the leaders of the review groups for the newly formulated industry standards of "Alkaline Spray Material for RH Refining Furnace" and "Drainage Sand for Steel Ladle". According to the standard review procedure, representatives of the standard drafting unit reported on the source of the project, the process of developing the standard, and the summary and processing of opinions on the standard solicitation draft. The attending experts, with a scientific rigor and a serious and responsible attitude, rigorously reviewed the format, technical indicators, and other contents of the standard preparation instructions and the draft for review word by word. Based on consensus, they formed revision suggestions for the standard. After the standard review meeting, a discussion meeting on the revision of the national standard GB/T 2608-2012 "Silica Bricks" was held. Representatives from companies and inspection institutions such as China Steel Lona Technology Co., Ltd. (referred to as China Steel Lona), Shanxi Yuxian Xixiaoping Refractory Materials Co., Ltd., and the National Refractory Quality Inspection and Testing Center attended the discussion meeting. Sinosteel Luonai, as the main drafting unit of the standard, introduced the drafting status and main modification contents of the revised standard draft for "Silicon Brick". The attending representatives put forward opinions and suggestions on the revised content of the standard, and made detailed deployment and arrangement for the revision work of the standard.

The National Standards Committee is a technical organization engaged in the standardization of refractory materials, under the leadership of the National Standards Committee, and its secretariat is affiliated with China Steel Luoyang Institute. In the past three years, Zhonggang Luoyang Institute has organized 21 national, industry, and group standard review meetings, 3 international standard seminars, and reviewed 66 national, industry, and group standards, relying on the Secretariat of the National Standards Committee; Hosted the formulation and revision of 11 national standards and 6 group standards. The brand influence of Sinosteel Luonai in the international and domestic refractory materials industry continues to increase. Guiding and organizing the formulation and revision of standards is of great significance for continuously improving the overall level of the refractory materials industry, promoting refractory material technology innovation and product upgrading, promoting green production and environmental protection in the industry, and promoting the healthy development of the industry.
