The meeting listened to the summary report of the Ministry of Security on safety production work and the summary report of the Ministry of Energy and Environmental Protection on energy low-carbon environmental protection work.

Bo Jun, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of Sinosteel Luonai, has put forward requirements for the next stage of safety production work. Firstly, we must take the implementation of the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China as the driving force, comprehensively implement and improve the company's all staff safety production responsibility system, and resolutely shoulder the main responsibility for safety production. Secondly, we should be guided by hidden dangers and risks, and draw analogies to strengthen the investigation and management of hidden dangers and the prevention and control of safety risks. Thirdly, we must be vigilant about the critical period of "seven down and eight up" flood prevention, and effectively carry out current flood prevention and disaster prevention work. The fourth is to firmly adhere to the bottom line as the fundamental principle and effectively shoulder the responsibility of ensuring safety during the company's difficult times. The requirements for energy conservation, carbon reduction, and environmental protection work include further improving the environmental management system, strengthening environmental performance evaluation and accountability mechanisms. The second is to accelerate the upgrading and renovation of existing environmental protection facilities, and to do a good job in the daily operation, management, and maintenance of environmental protection facilities. The third is to establish a problem rectification ledger, implement account cancellation management, improve relevant systems and processes, establish a long-term mechanism, and maintain stable environmental protection situation. The fourth is to strengthen the research and application of energy-saving and environmentally friendly products, enhance their environmental performance and market competitiveness. The fifth is to establish a sound energy conservation and emission reduction management system, accelerate technological transformation and equipment upgrading, and improve energy utilization efficiency.

Wang Zhanmin pointed out that safety involves the lives of employees, and environmental protection involves the lives of enterprises. Both safety and environmental protection work cannot be relaxed, and requirements have been put forward for these two aspects of work. In terms of safety production work, daily inspections should be carried out on equipment and facilities for production processes, with a focus on strengthening safety management at construction sites; Manage road traffic safety for employees commuting to and from work effectively; Strengthen fire and gas safety management in rental venues, talent apartments, single dormitories, and other places; Strengthen flood and heatstroke prevention work, comprehensively enhance the company's safety management capabilities; Strengthen the investigation and management of hidden dangers, and implement account cancellation management. In the work of energy conservation, carbon reduction, and environmental protection, we must maintain environmental awareness and keep up with the times, constantly learn new standards and requirements for environmental protection; Accelerate the carbon footprint accounting and certification of products; According to the severe environmental situation, each base should always do a good job in welcoming inspections.
