On July 30th, the "2024 (Fourth) Refractory Basic Knowledge and Production Application Technology Training Course" jointly organized by the Refractory Materials Magazine of China Steel Luoyang Institute and the Refractory Materials Branch of the Chinese Society of Metals, Wuhan University of Science and Technology, Beijing University of Science and Technology, Xi'an University of Architecture and Technology, and other universities, opened in Luoyang. Wang Zhanmin, Deputy General Manager of Sinosteel Luonai Materials Technology Corporation., attended the opening ceremony.

Teachers from Wuhan University of Science and Technology, Beijing University of Science and Technology, Baowu Equipment Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., Luoyang Institute of Technology, Henan University of Science and Technology, and more than 20 directors of the Luoyang Refractory Materials Industry Association attended the opening of the course. More than 80 students from dozens of refractory material related enterprises and scientific research and quality inspection institutions across the country participated in the training.

The opening ceremony was presided over by Director Zhang Xiaohui of the Industry Service Center of Sinosteel Luonai Institute. Wang Zhanmin, on behalf of Sinosteel Luonai Materials Technology Corporation., delivered a welcome speech. Wang Zhanmin pointed out that in the refractory material industry, where there is only a stock market without an incremental market, refractory material enterprises should cultivate their internal strength, ensure the quality and stability of their products, maintain the advantages of specialized and innovative products, and enhance their management and sales capabilities. Sinosteel Luonai will continue to play a leading role in the industry, persist in holding training courses and industry academic conferences on refractory material basic knowledge and production application technology, and make positive contributions to the technological development of the industry.

Sinosteel Luonai has taken the lead in organizing three sessions of training on basic knowledge and production application technology of refractory materials, and has provided professional training to more than 300 students from over 100 enterprises. The fourth training course on basic knowledge and production application technology of refractory materials will last for 10 days, focusing on intelligent technology of steel refractory materials, refractory materials for building materials industry, basic knowledge of refractory materials, application of new ceramic technologies in refractory materials, corrosion research of refractory materials for hydrogen metallurgy, overview of refractory material standardization, and green development.
