Recently, the Science and Technology Department of Henan Province organized a review meeting for the Central Plains Science and Technology Innovation Leading Talent Project in Luoyang City, and accepted the completion of the "Research and Development of Near Infrared Ceramic Coatings for Energy saving Surface Radiation of Refractory Materials" project undertaken by Dr. Wang Gang from China Steel Luoyang Institute.
The attending experts listened to the project report, reviewed relevant materials, and after questioning and discussion, believed that the project had met the assessment indicators and unanimously agreed to pass the acceptance.
The project "Research and Development of Energy saving Near Infrared Ceramic Coatings for Refractory Material Surface Radiation" has developed ceramic powders with high near-infrared emissivity through the composition design of near-infrared ceramic powders and high-temperature solid-state reaction synthesis technology; A double-layer coating system was constructed on the surface of aluminum silicon refractory materials, and the evolution law of emissivity and microstructure evolution mechanism during high-temperature long-term service were analyzed; The influence of coating position, spectral matching, and thermal furnace operation process parameters on radiation heat transfer between the coating and receptor has been optimized, and the principle of using near-infrared radiation ceramic coatings has been determined. The infrared radiation ceramic coatings prepared have good physical and chemical compatibility with aluminum silicon refractory materials, and the emissivity of the coatings decays slowly after long-term service, which can achieve long-term energy saving.
