At the "National Science and Technology Workers Day" celebration event held by Baowu this year, Wang Jiaping, a senior engineer and grassroots science and technology worker at Sinosteel Luonai, told the innovative story of Sinosteel Luonai's silicon carbide composite material research and development team on site at the main venue of Baowu Central Research Institute. He was one of the only two representatives who told innovative stories on site.

The Central Research Institute of Baowu Group is the main body of Baowu Group's technological innovation and a research and development sharing platform. Since 1984, when the silicon carbide research team of China Steel Luoyang Institute developed the silicon carbide tuyere brick with the highest technical content among blast furnace refractory materials in the world for the second phase of Shanghai Baoshan Iron and Steel Plant, the series of products and technologies have gone through a leap from scratch, from following and running to leading, becoming a typical representative of China Steel Luoyang's large-scale industrialization of scientific and technological achievements.

At the "National Science and Technology Workers Day" event in Baowu, grassroots scientific and technological workers at Sinosteel Luonai shared their innovative stories, fully reflecting Baowu Group's recognition of Sinosteel Luonai's scientific and technological innovation work and affirmation of the scientific research ability and achievements of scientific and technological workers, further stimulating the innovation enthusiasm and creative vitality of the vast number of scientific and technological workers at Sinosteel Luonai.
