Give full play to the functions of trade unions to support business development | China Steel Luonai Trade Union held its second joint meeting

In the face of the severe situation of the current company's business development, the China Steel Luonai Labor Union actively plays a bridging role, taking solving the most concerned, direct, and practical problems of the workers as the starting point, taking multiple measures to do practical and good things for the workers, consolidating the broad joint efforts of the workers, and stimulating their enthusiasm and initiative to work hard, start businesses, and overcome difficulties. On the afternoon of June 7th, the China Steel Luoyang Union held its second joint meeting. Zhang Xiaofeng, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission, and Chairman of the Trade Union of the company, and Xiong Jianhua, Minister of the Party Mass Work Department (Enterprise Culture Department) and Vice Chairman of the Trade Union, attended the meeting. Trade union members, chairpersons and vice chairpersons of grassroots trade unions and other relevant personnel attended the meeting.

The meeting analyzed the overall situation of the current company's business development, announced the structure and division of labor of the China Steel Luoyang Nai Trade Union Committee, reported on the recommendation of the deputy chairman of the Luoyang Federation of Trade Unions, and made careful arrangements for the collection and use of trade union dues, the construction of employee rest rooms, the "cooling off" activity, the enrollment of employee children in daycare, school, and cultural and sports activities that are widely concerned by the workers and the masses. The meeting also responded to the demands of the workers and the masses on site.

Zhang Xiaofeng stated in his speech that the organization and division of labor of the China Steel Luonai Union have been basically established, and the role of "the union as a bridge and link between the party and the masses" should be fully utilized to safeguard the rights and interests of workers and alleviate their difficulties. Regarding the role of trade unions in supporting production and operation, Zhang Xiaofeng put forward three requirements: firstly, to strengthen theory and improve standing.   The second is to continue learning and enhance abilities. We should actively learn excellent practices and typical cases from the group and external units, enhance communication and problem-solving abilities, and carry out labor union work with distinctive characteristics of Luoyang in a "specific, precise, and regular" manner. Thirdly, we must wholeheartedly fulfill our duties and responsibilities. We must closely connect with the workers and masses, solve the "three most" problems that concern them with "maximum effort and fastest speed", stimulate their enthusiasm, initiative, and creativity. Under the current situation and tasks, trade union organizations at all levels should fully exert their subjective initiative, lead the workers and masses to work together, climb hills and overcome obstacles, and jointly provide strategies and contribute to the development of China Steel Luoyang.

At the meeting, four comrades, Zhang Xiaofeng, Xiong Jianhua, Tan Qinghua, and Zhang Enliang, were elected as representatives to attend the 16th Luoyang City Member Representative Conference.
