In 2022, the State Key Laboratory of Advanced Refractory Materials built by Sinosteel Luoyang Institute of Refractory Technology was approved as the first batch of scientists' spiritual education bases. Since the unveiling of the Scientific Spirit Education Base, Sinosteel Luonai Institute has been deeply engaged in various work such as scientific research and development, and innovative cultural construction.   In the center of the first floor of the State Key Laboratory of Advanced Refractory Materials, an auxiliary exhibition hall for the spirit education base of scientists will be deployed and constructed to focus on the spiritual inheritance of generations of scientists of the Luoyang Institute of Refractory Materials, which is characterized by "patriotic dedication, hard work and plain living, pragmatic innovation, and the courage to climb the peak".

The three parts of the main content of the exhibition hall are the struggle history of scientists and researchers in three different periods since the establishment of China Steel Luoyang Institute, as well as the inheritance history of the spirit of scientists and the independent development history of China's refractory material research work.

“心系祖国 艰苦创业”部分主要展示了新中国成立之初以钟香崇和郁国城为代表的冶金领域科学家的事迹和主要成就；

The theme of 'Liberating the Mind and Shouldering Heavy Burdens' mainly showcases the deeds and achievements of refractory material scientists represented by Chen Zhaoyou, Li Zaigeng, and Zhang Zhiping who emerged in the early stage of reform and opening up at the Luoyang Institute of Technology;

The theme of 'Perseverance for the Future' mainly showcases the struggle of Li Hongxia, a representative of the refractory industry in the new era, to accelerate the construction of a strong technological country and achieve high-level technological self-reliance and self-improvement.

The expectations and requirements of important leaders of the Party and the state for scientific and technological innovation on both sides of the exhibition hall, as well as the earnest instructions for scientific and technological workers, shine brightly under the lighting. The completion of the exhibition hall construction marks the successful establishment of the Luonai Institute as a platform for promoting the spirit and culture of scientists, integrating exhibition, publicity, and education. It has played a positive role in further inheriting scientific power, sowing the seeds of innovation, and nurturing innovative culture.
