Sinosteel Luoyang Institute of Refractories Research Co., Ltd. was established in 1963. It is the only large-scale comprehensive research institution in the field of refractory materials in China, and also the technical, academic, information and service center of China's refractory materials industry. It has the industry's first CMC national measuring instrument production license. We have over 400 professional and technical personnel, more than 100 doctoral, master's, and professor level senior engineers, and more than 600 patents. The refractory material testing instruments produced by it can meet the testing requirements of refractory material mechanics, thermodynamics, structural properties, amorphous, continuous casting slag and fiber products. The main equipment includes high-temperature load soft creep tester, high-temperature bending tester, hot wire thermal conductivity tester, industrial kiln car furnace, etc.

The company integrates research and development, production, sales, and service, focusing on the testing and experimentation of high-temperature material properties. It has extensive cooperation with major universities, research institutes, and well-known enterprises. The company adheres to the principle of "customer first, quality first", and its products are exported to dozens of countries and regions such as Europe, America, Japan, South Korea, India, etc. It continuously provides first-class testing technology and equipment for the scientific research, teaching, and quality supervision of inorganic non-metallic materials!

 Sinosteel Luoyang Institute of Refractories Research Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as LIRR) is one of the earliest domestic units to conduct research, development, and production of polycrystalline alumina fibers, and has won multiple provincial and ministerial level awards over the years. In order to industrialize technological achievements as soon as possible, a research and production base for high-temperature refractory fibers was established in 2008.

Through years of systematic research, significant breakthroughs have been made in the scientific research and industrialization technology of polycrystalline fiber series products, which can produce a series of polycrystalline fiber cotton and its downstream products with alumina content of 72% -95%. The product variety is rich and the product quality is excellent. Especially the successful development of polycrystalline fiber products with high usage temperature of 1800 ℃ and long-term usage temperature of 1700 ℃. It meets the requirements of fast temperature rise and fall speed, high temperature control accuracy, uniform furnace temperature, and energy saving for kilns.
